1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
¼ tsp red pepper flakes, optional
For the Asparagus
1 lb (450 g) asparagus, woody ends trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Potatoes
1½ lb (680 g) baby potatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
For the Garlic Butter Drizzle
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Potatoes
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash the baby potatoes and cut larger ones in half.
Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Spread on a large baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, combine:
Melted butter
Olive oil
Minced garlic
Lemon juice
Lemon zest
Italian seasoning
Smoked paprika
Salt
Black pepper
Red pepper flakes
Mix well.
3. Season the Asparagus
Add the asparagus to the baking sheet with the potatoes.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Toss gently.
Push the vegetables toward the sides of the pan to make room for the salmon.
4. Add the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Place them skin-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
5. Bake
Return the pan to the oven and bake for approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
For food safety, cook salmon to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
6. Make the Garlic Butter Drizzle
While the salmon cooks, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, parsley, and black pepper.
Don’t let the garlic become dark brown.
7. Finish & Serve
Remove everything from the oven.
Drizzle the warm garlic butter over the salmon, potatoes, and asparagus.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Serve immediately.

Tips for Perfect Garlic Butter Salmon
Pat the salmon dry
Dry salmon browns better and allows the garlic butter seasoning to adhere.
Don’t overcook it
Salmon can become dry if left in the oven too long. Start checking thinner fillets around the 10-minute mark.
Use fresh garlic
Freshly minced garlic gives the butter sauce a much stronger flavor than garlic powder.
Add lemon at the end
Fresh lemon juice brightens the richness of the butter without overpowering the salmon.
For crispy salmon
Place the salmon under the broiler for 1–2 minutes at the end. Watch closely.
Use skin-on salmon
The skin helps protect the salmon while cooking and can become deliciously crisp. Air Fryer Garlic Butter Salmon
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat salmon dry.
Brush with garlic butter.
Place salmon skin-side down in the basket.
Air fry for 7–11 minutes, depending on thickness.
Check the thickest part for doneness.
Finish with fresh lemon juice and parsley.
Cook time will vary between air fryers and fillet thicknesses.

Can I make this without butter?
Yes. Substitute additional olive oil or use a plant-based butter.
Can I make it dairy-free?
Yes. Use dairy-free butter or olive oil.

Can I meal prep this?
Yes. Store cooked salmon and vegetables in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out the salmon.
