Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use frozen spinach?

Yes. Thaw completely and squeeze out as much moisture as possible before using.

Can I make it ahead?

Absolutely. Bake the quiche a day in advance, refrigerate, and reheat before serving.

Why is my quiche watery?

Too much moisture from spinach or tomatoes. Drain the sun-dried tomatoes well and squeeze excess water from the spinach.

Can I make it crustless and keto?

Yes. Use heavy cream instead of milk and avoid any high-carb additions.

Can I use another cheese?

Yes. Goat cheese, Swiss, cheddar, Gruyère, or mozzarella all work well.

How do I know when it’s done?

The centre should be just set with a slight jiggle. It will continue to firm up as it cools.

Can I freeze leftovers?

Yes. Wrap individual slices tightly and freeze for up to 2 months.

Is this gluten-free?

Yes, provided all packaged ingredients (especially cheeses and seasonings) are certified gluten-free.

What pairs well with this quiche?

A crisp green salad, roasted vegetables, fresh fruit, or a bowl of soup make excellent accompaniments.
