Ingredients

- 500g (1 lb) ground beef
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, to thicken)
- Jalapeño slices (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Roll into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the meatballs for 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
- In another pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add honey and soy sauce; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry if you prefer a thicker sauce.
- Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Garnish with jalapeño slices and parsley.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
