 Recipe Details

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25–30 minutes
Total Time: 35–40 minutes
Servings: 4
Difficulty: Easy

 Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon chili flakes, optional
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, optional
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

 Instructions

1. Prepare the Cauliflower

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Wash the cauliflower and dry it very well. Cut it into evenly sized florets. Removing excess moisture helps the cauliflower become crispy instead of steaming.

2. Season

Place the cauliflower florets in a large bowl. Add olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes.

Toss well until every piece is evenly coated.

3. Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the cauliflower and toss again.

4. Roast

Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding the pan, as this can prevent the florets from becoming crispy.

Roast for 25–30 minutes, turning the cauliflower halfway through cooking.

For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning.

5. Serve

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Enjoy while hot and crispy!

 Tips for Extra Crispy Cauliflower

  • Dry the cauliflower completely before seasoning.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet.
  • Use high heat for better browning and caramelization.
  • Cut the florets into similar sizes for even cooking.
  • For an extra crunchy version, add ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs with the Parmesan.
  • An air fryer can also be used at 390°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
